In November, 2011, ten years ago, I started work on my murder mystery novel, presently entitled Death & Love. I revised it numerous times. I paid for two writing instructors who were also published mystery novelists to review it more than once and help me with it. I also engaged a number of Beta readers for free advice. Nevertheless, after contacting over 60 agents with a query letter and 5-25 page excerpt from the book, not one expressed any desire to even read it...
