Show Me - Don't Tell Me

I can't tell you how many times people have made the comment to me, "Show me. Don't tell me."

I just couldn't see it at first. If someone highlighted something in my writing and said, "Here! Show me," I was off to the races. I could rewrite that, and it would come out much better.

Now, I am getting to the point where I can see those places on my own. My problem now is: they are everywhere. My book is becoming 10 million pages long.
